Location

Set in its own tranquil gardens, only a short distance from the city centre, this is Nairobi's only country house hotel. The hotel is situated only 3 kilometers from the heart of the city centre and 20 kilometers from the primary airport, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport - Nairobi. The Wilson Airport - Nairobi is located 15 kilomters from the hotel. The Nairobi Railway Station is located 5 kilometers away. The main convention center and trade fair grounds are 3 kilometers away.

Accommodation and facilities

All guest rooms are luxuriously furnished, have plush carpeting and deep velour soft furnishings. The guest rooms all have bedside lamps, dressing tables, and built-in wardrobes, besides luggage racks. Every room has a telephone and telephone directory, direct dialling facilities, a television linked to satellite dish, electrical mosquito repellent and air conditioning. Back-up generators in the hotel allow for 24-hour electricity.

Cuisine

There are six restaurants in the hotel, one to suit every mood and palate. The renowned Ibis Restaurant offers award-winning gourmet dishes in a comfortable setting. The relaxed setting of the Hibiscus Bar and Lounge is the perfect spot to unwind, while the Lord Delamere Terrace is the ideal spot for people watching. The extensive room service menu is always an option when a more private setting is preferred.
