The Hotel

Accommodation at this five star deluxe hotel is exclusively in suites, 126 Junior suites, 22 Club Junior suite beachfront and 24 Club Senior suite beachfront. Its magnificent location, at the foot of Le Morne Mountain, adds even greater appeal, with beautiful ocean views. The suites are characterised by their deep verandahs, giving the feeling of a private seaside home.

The public areas consist of wide open spaces under thatch. The main restaurant is divided into three areas for added intimacy, and a second restaurant at the edge of the pool specializes in gastronomic cuisine. Dinarobin shares the four restaurants at Paradis as well as the facilities of the golf course. A major attraction is the Spa by Clarins, where natural elements feature in the treatment of world-weary bodies and souls. Membership to the exclusive Club at Dinarobin is open to guests occupying a Club Junior Beachfront Suite or Club Senior Beachfront Suite.

Accommodation

Set in the tropical grounds between the golf course and the sea, the 172 suites are designed to create a sense of intimacy, elegance, simplicity and understated luxury. The finest fabrics and timber finishes lend international chic to the interiors. Spacious bathrooms are designed to allow maximum natural light. L’Harmonie - the main restaurant serving buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Saveurs des Iles - open for a la carte dinners.

Le Morne Plage: - beach restaurant open for lunch and snacks. Dinners are served dependant on season and weather.

Bars

Mahogany Bar is the centre of conviviality and entertainment. Set right beside the pool, the Mahogany Bar comes alive at night with dancing till late. It is elegantly furnished for total relaxation.

La Cabanon is a new bar right on the beach. It is a fantastic spot to socialize in a sophisticated atmosphere with your feet in the sand and sipping an ice cold cocktail.

The Club at Dinarobin
This exclusive facility is offered to guests occupying the Club Senior Suites Beachfront and the Club Junior Suites Beachfront. A special lounge, The Martello offers members a place to relax and enjoy refreshments during the day. It also offers free use of Internet facilities and access to international newspapers. A Club manager is available to assist with any requirements.

Personalized check-in facility and members enjoy priority for early check-in and late check-out depending upon availability
A Club Manager is responsible for special welcome procedures and managing other exclusive amenities for members

Entertainment

The dedicated leisure and entertainment team ensures that there is always something of interest happening at the hotel. Every guest is free to take part, whether actively or as a spectator.
Daytime entertainment includes numerous activities, which change according to a weekly programme. Evening entertainment is sophisticated and low key in keeping with ambience of the hotel.

Golf

Guests at Dinarobin share the 18 hole golf course at Paradis. The setting of the Paradis Golf Course is among the most spectacular on the island. Tucked at the base of Le Morne Mountain the layout of the course curls round the edges of the lagoon where the lush greens and fairways have enough to challenge the experienced golfer but are not daunting for the weekend player. Paradis has an agreement with two other golf clubs close by, Tamarina Golf Club and Beach Resort and Golf du Chateau. Bookings can be made at the Paradis golf clubhouse.

Spa and Fitness

Spa by Clarins

The Spa by Clarins at Dinarobin is considered the best in Mauritius. Tucked against the mountain backdrop, the luxurious spa is divided into three sections, one for conventional treatments, another for balneotherapy and algeotherapy and, more recently, a section devoted entirely to Ayurveda. Yoga and meditation are also available in the peaceful surroundings.
The area set aside for Ayurvedic treatments consists of:

Four treatment rooms suitably decorated with an Indian theme
Special tables imported from India made from wood with therapeutic qualities
Qualified therapists from Kerala, India, the Mecca of Ayurveda, have trained local therapists in this advanced method of treatment

Health Centre

Any workout a fitness fanatic could dream of is available at the modern Fitness Centre, where professional trainers are on hand with advice and assistance. Sections are dedicated to Cardio, Aerobics and Body Building.

Recently installed at Dinarobin gym is a new machine, the professional Vibrogym. The new machine works on a similar principle to “Power Plates” exercise but instead it is more intense. It was invented by a Russian scientist for cosmonauts returning from orbit to restore muscle tones after long periods in space. Fifteen minutes three times a week steadily builds up one’s muscle mass and tone again. Impact is in the form of straps which can be placed on different parts of the body. Use of the machine is free of charge but sessions must be booked in advance with a personal trainer.
