The hotel

A prime resort site in the heart of Grand Bay, it has a lively atmosphere, fine food and two different restaurants to choose from. The hotel has a full range of water sports, land sports and Wellness Centre.
Recent renovations have resulted in a complete modernization of Le Mauricia in all areas of the hotel, the public areas, the restaurants, the rooms and the pool.

The accent is on sport and entertainment, health and fitness, and quality accommodation at value-for-money prices. An optional all inclusive package, All in One is available. The Village at Le Mauricia comprises of 20 two bedroom apartments and one villa in a private garden with its own swimming pool. A further nine apartments are located in separate areas in the garden.

Accommodation

Standard and superior rooms all face the bay. Standard rooms are located on the first and second floors while the superior rooms are on the ground floor with small semi-private gardens.
All apartments are garden facing and are located away from the main hotel.  There is one private villa within the village with its own garden and pool.

Evening – Smart casual. No shorts are permitted at the restaurants in the evenings.

Restaurants

Les Quais - main restaurant designed with a brand new style and new buffet areas.
Le Nautic - fresh fish and seafood restaurant. Seats 100. A la carte or set menu: opens for lunch and dinner.

Bars

Baywatch - Main Bar. Newly built Mediterranean-style bar with its own private beach. Snacks & pancakes are served at certain times in the afternoon.

Added Value

All In One

Guests at Le Mauricia have an option of purchasing an all-inclusive package which covers most meals and drinks for the duration of their stay. However, the standard package is available for those not wishing to pay the all-inclusive rate. The All in One package is purchased in advance and the rates must apply to all adults and children travelling together in a party during their entire stay.

The All in One package is fully interchangeable between Le Mauricia and Le Canonnier.
Inclusions for groups differ on all inclusive offers.

Daytime entertainment includes numerous activities, which change on a daily basis. Evening entertainment is rich and varied, from themed buffets and live bands to musical and cabaret shows. Typical Creole evenings are a weekly feature not to be missed. There's something for all tastes.

The sophisticated health centre has three massage rooms, a sauna, a Turkish bath and a hydro-massage room. There is also an aerobics room and a gym.
