This four star hotel is on a prime Grand Bay property, perched on a peninsula with two beaches each offering a different view. The site is of great historical significance in Mauritius. The old lighthouse now serves as a venue for the mini-club and the wellness centre has been built in the branches of an ancient Banyan tree.

It is an ideal place for family holidays with plenty of entertainment for adults and children alike. Situated 10 minutes from the centre of Grand Bay with its shopping and vibrant nightlife makes it a popular choice with the fun-loving fraternity.

Restaurants

Le Frangipanier - The main restaurant is open-plan and set in the garden adjacent to the pool. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served buffet style. An entertaining feature at dinner time is live cooking demonstrations when guests watch the chefs prepare their meal.

Le Navigator - This is a romantic restaurant with panoramic views over the island to the north of Mauritius. Choose delicious specialities from the a la carte menu for lunch or dinner every day except Mondays.

Bars

Le Navigator - Sip a sundowner in this intimate environment. Stay late to enjoy the nightclub after 11pm.
Le Planteur - The ideal spot for a quiet drink or a browse through the well-stocked library.

Added Value

All In One

Guests at Le Mauricia have an option of purchasing an all-inclusive package which covers most meals and drinks for the duration of their stay. However, the standard package is available for those not wishing to pay the all-inclusive rate. The All in One package is purchased in advance and the rates must apply to all adults and children travelling together in a party during their entire stay.

The All in One package is fully interchangeable between Le Mauricia and Le Canonnier.

Unique to the island of Mauritius, Le Canonnier has built a Wellness Centre in the sturdy branches of a Banyan Tree. Access to the rustic massage rooms is stone steps leading into the tree. Professional therapists offer a variety of treatments. There is a strong emphasis on therapies originating in the East and therapists are expertly trained to administer the most soothing massages using these popular methods.
