The hotel

Paradis is one of the most luxurious hotels in Mauritius. Its shoreline stretches for seven kilometers around the Le Morne Peninsula. Accommodation ranges from Superior and Deluxe Rooms, to Junior, Junior Beachfront, Deluxe and Senior Suites. Paradis also has 13 luxury villas built along a private beach where guests have the option of an ‘own home' seaside holiday. The public areas, under thatch are close to the beach, adding to the tropical atmosphere. The hotel has four quality restaurants and shares a further three with its neighbour, Dinarobin. Recognised internationally as a golf resort, its picturesque 18-hole course is attractive to players of varying skills. Golfers may also play the nearby 18-hole courses at Golf du Chateau and Tamarina Golf and Beach Club

Restaurants and bars

The four restaurants at Paradis invite you to enjoy the exquisite taste of Mauritian specialities, Italian treats and seafood delicacies.

Dress code

Evening – Smart casual. No shorts are permitted at the restaurants in the evenings.

Restaurants

Brabant - This is the main restaurant, overlooking the swimming pool and divided into three separate areas creating an intimate atmosphere. This is where guests can enjoy a wide selection of buffet menus in the evenings. The restaurant is also open for breakfast and lunch each day.

Le Palma - A romantic restaurant specialising in Italian cuisine. The restaurant is elegantly decorated for fine dining. It is open for dinner Monday to Saturday.

Porto Vecchio - Offers the highly flavoured cuisine of Italy and the Mediterranean, accompanied by the best wines, to delight the most discerning diner. This restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.

Blue Marlin - This restaurant enjoys the most exquisite setting on the peninsula with the sea lapping its walls at high tide. The menu offers a wide choice of dishes. Or order a la carte and enjoy seafood or other gourmet delicacies. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served daily. Regret no children under 12 years.

Ravanne - This is an open air restaurant situated between Paradis and Dinarobin adjacent to the villas. Enjoy a trip in a traditional pirogue to this venue, where you will be greeted by the rhythm of the “Sega” dance on certain nights of the week. Built on the beach, La Ravanne specialises in seafood, grills and Mauritian specialities.

Paradis Villas

Adjacent to Paradis are twelve super luxury Executive Villas and one Presidential Villa. The entrance to each villa is from a golf course approach and the living areas face out onto a dramatic seascape.

Modern kitchens are available for the preparation of meals. Meals may be ordered from the hotel restaurants or guests may wish to dine at seven top-class venues on the property. At an additional charge, guests may have a meal prepared in their villas by a chef at lunchtime or in the evening.
The Golf Clubhouse and the first tee are a short distance from the villas. Water sports are operated from the boathouse at Paradis. Each villa is provided with a golf cart.

Entertainment

The dedicated leisure and entertainment team ensures that there is always something of interest happening at the hotel. Every guest is free to take part, whether actively or as a spectator.

A weekly entertainment programme is available in each room for all residents. Daytime entertainment includes numerous activities, which change according to a weekly programme. Evening entertainment is lively and colourful featuring cabaret artists and professional entertainers.Shows are glitzy and glamorous. A resident band plays dance music from the latest pop music to old favourites.

Late night owls will enjoy the disco adjacent to the Blue Marlin Restaurant, which is open certain nights of the week.

Golf

The setting of the Paradis Golf Course is among the most spectacular on the island. Tucked at the base of Le Morne Mountain the layout of the course curls round the edges of the lagoon where the lush greens and fairways have enough to challenge the experienced golfer but are not daunting for the weekend player. Paradis has an agreement with two other golf clubs close by, Tamarina Golf Club and Beach Resort and Golf du Chateau. Bookings can be made at the Paradis golf clubhouse.

Spa by Clarins

In a quiet shaded environment the Spa at Paradis reflects the mysteries of the East.  Interiors are exotic with the influences of culture drawn from India and Asia. Therapists are trained in the use of Clarins Spa products, soothing away the cares of the world, and revitalising body and soul. A hairdresser and beauty care centre is adjacent to the Spa.

Fitness

Any workout a fitness fanatic could dream of is available at the modern Fitness Centre, where professional trainers are on hand with advice and assistance. Sections are dedicated to Cardio, Aerobics, Spinning and Body Building.
