Location

Situated in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, which is located in the southwestern corner of the Kruger National Park.

Accommodation and facilities

Each of the 18 air conditioned guest cottages has a private veranda, en suite bathroom and furnished in colonial tradition.

The large sitting room, with a 1920’s ambience, leads through double French doors onto rolling lawns that provide a velvety contrast to the wild and tumbling bush surrounding the Lodge. Cool off in the rim flow swimming pool which overlooks the African bush. Breakfast and lunch are served on shady verandas, and dinners are shared in the dramatic boma or in romantic lanternlit bush settings.

Activities and game viewing

Kirkman's Kamp is excellently positioned in the game-rich Sabi Sand Game Reserve bordering the famous Kruger National park, offering thrilling wildlife related activities at no additional cost.

Experienced rangers and trackers will lead you on morning and afternoon/evening game-drives in open 4x4 safari vehicles. The Sabi Sand Game Reserve and Kruger National Park are of the finest Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino) game destinations in Africa and you have an excellent chance of spotting the elusive leopard.

Explore the Sabi Sand Game Reserve on interpretive wilderness walks led by experienced CC Africa rangers or expert Shangaan trackers, and learn more about the area’s intriguing fauna and flora. Guided bush walks bring you face-to-face with wild Africa at its best. Regretfully, children 16 years and younger cannot participate in bush walks.
