Location
It is situated on the Sand River at the very heart of the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. This reserve in turn forms part of the Greater Limpopo Transfrontier Park, a vast and growing area, currently covering 6 million acres and incorporating the famous Kruger National Park. The region features broad, open savannahs interspersed with acacia thornveld, rocky outcrops and riverine forest. This diverse habitat boasts an incredible array of wildlife, including the big five.
Herds of buffalo and elephant, large prides of lion, majestic leopards and numerous antelope species call the Sabi Sand Reserve home.
