Ngala Safari Lodge

Location

Ngala Safari Lodge is situated in Ngala Private Game Reserve on 14 700 hectares/36 500 acres of exclusive game-rich Kruger National Park, Northern Province, South Africa.

Accommodation and facilities

20 air conditioned cottages with ensuite bathrooms, with shower, twin hand basins, w.c., bath, and intimate veranda. One luxurious Safari Suite with ensuite bathroom, separate sitting room, outdoor shower, large deck/veranda, swimming pool and private safari vehicle.

Secluded in leafy woodlands, Ngala’s guest areas include a spacious thatched sitting, bar and dining area with impressive open fireplaces, shaded swimming pool and sundecks overlooking a busy waterhole. Dinner is served either in the traditional African boma (reeded enclosure) or in the romantic lantern-lit courtyard. The lodge has a well-stocked Safari Shop.

Activities and game viewing

Twice-daily game drives in open safari vehicles and nature walks on the reserve are included in the rate. The excellent game viewing experience is complemented by other activities such as stargazing, birdwatching and moonlit riverbed dinners and bush sundowners (weather permitting).
