Location
Deep in the game-rich Lower Zambezi National Park, there is a secluded, intimate safari camp settled comfortably in the deep shade of tall riverine trees.
Accommodation and facilities
Enjoy the beautiful riverbank setting at Kulefu "the faraway place", which offers excellent game viewing opportunities, as the wildlife is concentrated in the land corridor between the steep escarpment and the river.
The camp offers seven spacious chalets (maximum 12 guests) with twin or double beds, mosquito nets, en-suite facilities and tranquil view of the Zambezi River.
The central lounge and dining area are housed in two magnificent Bedouin style tents, giving an open air feel and harmonising with the surrounding environment. Teak furniture and natural fabrics add an authentic and luxurious feel to this camp. There is a refreshing swimming pool and teak deck overlooking the river. Guests can also sit around an evening fire on the banks of the river.
Batteries can be charged by generator and lights in the evening are supplied by 220 volt inverter. Traditional paraffin lamps illuminate pathways and tent entrances.
Activities and game viewing
Enjoy game viewing, bird watching, stargazing. Animals include elephants, lion, hippo, wild dog, aardvark, serval, honey badger and leopard.

Walking safaris
Game walks conducted by a professional guide and an armed national parks scout.
Floating safari
